Guides along the trail will explain highlights of Main Street, Mechanic, and the former village of Freedom. Participants are encouraged to bring their smart phones to listen to descriptions of various points of interest and see photos of how things used to look along the trail. Walk Add-Ons
Tours of the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home and Alliance History Mini Museum will be available for a $5 entrance donation for those who would like to visit either or both facilities. A limit of 10 visitors will be allowed in the house at one time.
The Friends of Rodman Library will be offering a booksale from 1-4:30 p.m. in the library parking lot.
Additional Details
There is no charge to participate in the walk and reservations are not required. Parking will be available at Rodman Public Library and the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home. The tour will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes for the round trip walk.
