Displays in the Upper Hallway

Ascending the stairway to the second floor, you will note the curvature of the stairway. The light is reminiscent of a gaslight that has been converted to electric.

A cupboard at the top of the stairs holds several noteworthy items:

• A blue bottle is an early fire extinguisher used in city schools
• Dishes made by Sebring Pottery
• A cast iron train that dates from around 1890
• A small McCaskey register that was used as a sample by salesmen

The first bedroom we visit is the master bedroom.
